Zach Top, who grew up on a ranch in Washington, began playing in his family’s bluegrass band at the age of five before transitioning into a more conventional country music style.

With his rich, classic sound and poignant storytelling, Zach Top has captivated listeners and swept the country music world.

His 2024 debut album, “Cold Beer & Country Music,” which highlighted his narrative skills and classic country sound, and his viral TikTok fame served as his big break.

Despite not being musically inclined themselves, Zach Top’s parents, Wendy and Joram Top, created a close-knit family environment on the family ranch in Sunnyside, Washington, where he grew up.

Zach’s music was greatly impacted by the rural setting created by Joram’s employment in the livestock sector while Wendy educated Zach and his brothers.

When Zach was just seven years old, the Top siblings formed their family bluegrass band, Top String, after being exposed to music through their elder sister’s piano lessons.

Nashville producer Carson Chamberlain noticed this turning point and became a mentor to Zach, helping him hone his craft.

Zach Top had relocated to Nashville by 2021 and secured a publishing contract after enthralling crowds with his acoustic performances on TikTok.

Zach Top’s highly regarded debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, was released in 2024 by the indie label Leo33, which was established by former executives of the Universal Music Group.

With singles like “Sounds Like the Radio” and “Use Me,” the album swiftly gained popularity among fans, accumulating millions of listens and establishing Zach as a formidable presence.
