Nebraska football great Jack Hoffman died Thursday after a 14-12 month battle with most cancers, according to the Team Jack Foundation.
In 2011, the then-19-year-old Hoffman received his first high-profile cancer diagnosis at age 5. He became famous when he touched down in the Nebraska Spring Game in 2013. The Team Jack Foundation has raised tens of millions of dollars over the past 14 years if funds research for most brain cancers it is in children.
