Samara Weaving – Biography

Samara Weaving was born on 23 February 1992 in Australia. She is the daughter of an English father and a Maltese mother. She grew up in Singapore, Fiji and Indonesia. His father, Simon Samara Weaving, is a filmmaker and lecturer at Newcastle University in Newcastle, New South Wales, and is also the artistic director of the Canberra International Film Festival. His mother, Helena Bezzina, is an art therapist who teaches museum studies at the University of Newcastle.

Samara Weaving’s first leading actor was Kirsten Mulroney in the 2008 Australian-British soap opera Out of the Blue. In 2009, he played the role of Indigo “Indi” Walker in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. For his role as Indi, Samara Weaving was nominated for the Audience Choice Award for Best Female Performance in a TV drama at the first AACTA Awards in 2012. In 2012, she began modeling for the Australian underwear brand Bonds. In 2017, she appeared in the music video for Charlie Puth’s song “Watch”.

She played Nelson Rose in the drama Showtime SMILF from 2017 to 2019. Samara Weaving has also joined the cast of the new Hulu Nine Perfect Strangers series, based on Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name.

Samara Weaving announced she would be engaged to producer Jimmy Warden on March 10, 2019.
