Born August 23, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas, Rodney Alcala is one of the worst rapists and killers in series United States history. After convictions and incarcerations for several rapes and assaults sexual relations, he was finally arrested in 1979 for the murder of five women. Prosecutors said the man showed extreme cruelty. Justice sentenced him to death for murders of Robin Samsoe, 12, Jill Barcomb, 18, Georgia Wixted, 27 years old, Charlotte Lamb, 32 years old and Jill Parenteau, 21 years old. After further investigations, he was also charged with the murders of two 23-year-old women: Cornelia Crilley and Ellen Jane Hover. For these murders, the serial killer was convicted to a sentence of 25 years in prison.
