Little people, big world Fans have been following the drama about the future of Roloff’s farms, and Zach’s fallout with his father Matt Roloff, in the show’s 24th season airing now. Matt weighed in on the situation in an Instagram update on November 13. He made it clear that he wasn’t thrilled to see the conflict on television.
“How comfortable are you having to air your disagreement with your father with the entire United States?” asked one of his followers.
“I do not agree with that. It’s definitely sped up some things,” the father-of-three replied.
Zach didn’t elaborate on what the show had “fast-tracked.” But it seems that his already serious breakup with his father has only deepened lately.
Zach says the family feud is a “tough situation”
Zach and his father have been at odds over Father Roloff’s decision not to sell the family farm to his son. The two were unable to come to a financial agreement that worked for both of them. The dispute over the sale generated bad feelings and a distance that seems difficult to fix.
In a recent interview, Zach said he thought it would take time for him and his father to mend their relationship.
“It’s still pretty tough, yeah, it’s a tough situation,” Zach told Entertainment Tonight in late October. “I think a lot has happened. It’s going to take a long time. I don’t think responsibility has been taken, but then again, we’re just raising our family.”
Matt seems a bit more optimistic about the future of his relationship with Zach.
“I would say relationship status, if I had to sum it up, is on the right track,” Matt told ET. “We have had some setbacks in recent years. We’ve shared all of those in the upcoming season and before. Our real life is always a little bit ahead of when things are released. But we are definitely working.”
Zach’s wife, Tori Roloff, has said she might want to leave the TLC show.

The tension within the Roloff family has left Zach’s wife, Tori Roloff, focusing on their young family.
“I think this is a good opportunity for all of us to step back and remember that we’re family and that’s all that really matters,” Tori told ET. “Putting our businesses and things aside for others is, I think, the most important thing.”
She also seems to be looking to a future beyond reality TV. Recently, a fan on Instagram asked her if she would ever leave. Little people, big world.
“Yes,” she answered.
