India’s Big Bang to Host IESF Asia Open Esports Championship
The Asia Open Esports Championship will be held from January 30 to March 15, 2023
In what could be a revolutionary upgrade for esports in India and the area, the World Esports Federation (IESF) has teamed up with India’s Large Bang Media Ventures (BBMVPL) to launch the inaugural Asia Esports Open Championship. (Asia Open) starting in January. March 30 to 15, 12 months later.
One of the largest esports tournaments ever held, the Asia Open will see participation from nearly 40 international locations across Asia and the Middle East, offering avid gamers an unprecedented platform to compete and build communities internationally. .
Taking place online for its inaugural itinerary, the event will feature four major esports titles, including the immensely popular esports game PES. Dedicated to ‘esports-for-all’ rules, the Asian Open embraces every player by having three skill-based classes; amateurs, mid-core and professionals.

Big Bang Media Enterprise is owned by stylish Bollywood producer Madhu Mantena and banker-entrepreneur Ravneet Gill, and aims to dominate a multi-hyphenate learning and entertainment ecosystem.
