In a recent article, the Pakistan-based pro-Taliban Urdu-language daily Roznama Ummat reviewed the Qatari government’s preparations for da’wa (“preaching”, “invitation to Islam”) at the FIFA World Cup starting on November 20, 2022. Da’wa is an important part of Islam in which Muslims are expected to invite non-Muslims to embrace religion.

“Taking Advantage of This Golden Occasion, Qatari Officials Have Made Full Preparations To Invite Spectators To Islam”; “While viewers will enjoy the games in FIFA Qatar, they will also hear the call of Islam”
…”Taking advantage of this golden occasion, Qatari officials have fully prepared to invite viewers to Islam, while excellent arrangements have also been made to promote Arab culture.
