Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has named England as one of the favorites to win this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
England are in Group B at the 2022 World Cup and will face Iran, the United States and Wales.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off on Sunday, November 20, in Qatar.
“It will be difficult, obviously. We’ve only won it once,” Rooney told The Times.
“Hopefully we can build on the foundation of Euro 2020 and the women’s team winning their Euros, build on that momentum and take the next step.
