Sara Vicenta Zimmerman Duterte-Carpio, the 15th and current Vice President of the Philippines, is a lawyer and politician. She is the country’s third vice president, Mindanao’s third, and the youngest vice president in Philippine history.

She was speaking on the side of the stage when the sunlight hit her in the face. “Sorry… sorry, excuse me… Hindi ako naglagay ng sunblock,” he joked.

His joke drew laughter from the audience. After a while, he spoke again from the podium, which was already in the center of the stage.
