Continuing the national and industry trend toward more electric vehicles, more and more Americans are signing up for electric vehicles.
according to car newsExperian data company Report Nearly 158,689 electric vehicles were registered in the first quarter of 2022. Tesla has 113,882 electric vehicle registrations, accounting for nearly 72%, far ahead.
South Korean automaker Kia came in second with 8,450 registrations, with its EV6 and Niro topping the list. Ford also successfully registered 7,407 electric vehicles, up 91 percent from the first quarter of 2021, largely due to an 80 percent increase in Mustang Mach registrations. -E, and the first 54 F-150s. Hyundai, Nissan and Volkswagen also registered an increase in EV registrations compared to the first quarter of 2021.
