after completion, Star wars John Boyega has continued to work on various projects, including his Golden Globe-winning performance in the captivating detective thriller Candid Synapse and the 2020 miniseries Small Ax.
It has continued to make excellent films this year alone, including the historical action drama The Woman King and the thriller drama Breaking. The next movie on his resume, the sci-fi thriller They Cloned Tyrone, which will be released on Netflix, will be a break from his previous appearances.
On September 24, 2022, the first teaser was released as part of Netflix’s TUDUM celebration. Boyega, Teyonah Parris and Jamie Foxx are at the beginning of the story set inside an elevator.
Despite having firearms, Parris and Foxx’s characters are enjoying a funny moment when they start singing Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down”.
The three are then seen trespassing at a research facility, which is just the tip of a much larger conspiracy involving experiments, kidnappings, and surveillance that endangered a Black community.
The story promises some big giggles along the line with the core three’s interaction, adding to the bleak subject at the center of the movie.

They Cloned Tyrone Cast and Release Date
Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, best known for his roles in Ray, Django Unchained, Baby Driver, and other films, is one of the film’s other two main actors. Foxx plays Slick Charles, a sex worker broker and a friend of Fontaine’s.
Teyonah Parris could play Yo-Yo, Charles’ elite sex agent, as the final actor. Parris is best known for her work on Netflix’s Dear White People and Friday Night Lights Mad Men. She would also star in the next Candyman movie and the Disney+ series WandaVision.
An unlikely trio discover a series of disturbing events in this fleeting sci-fi mystery adventure, which leads them to discover an ominous conspiracy right under their noses. Fontaine, a local drug dealer, is shot by rival Isaac, and wakes up in his bed the next day to be surprised to find that he is unharmed.
He begins investigating the case with Slick Charles and Yo-Yo, and their investigation eventually leads them to a sizable underground complex where a government-sponsored facility is conducting trials on local Black residents.
Broader story summaries say that Fontaine, a village drug dealer, will be killed by his rival before the primary mystery of They Clone Tyrone begins. The next morning, however, Fontaine wakes up in his bed instead of staying dead.
Fontaine, Slick Charles, and Yo-Yo eventually start investigating this strange phenomenon, and their investigation leads them to an industrial bunker where a suspicious government agency is conducting experiments on the Black population.
They Cloned Tyrone will premiere on Netflix on December 30, 2022.
