The state has accumulated a deficit over the first nine months of the year of 53,949 million euros, 5.7% less than in the same period of 2020, which is equivalent to 4.46% of GDP , according to data released this Friday by the Ministry of Finance.
This reduction in the state deficit was made possible by the sharp increase in income, which increased between January and September by 16.2%, much more intensely than expenditure, which increased by 9.6%.
