Juventus’ decision to initiate a training retreat after their loss to Maccabi Haifa has reportedly divided the team, highlighting discontent after their rocky start.

The Bianconeri were embarrassed in Israel after suffering a disastrous 2-0 loss, leaving them with almost no hope of qualifying for the Champions League round of 16. Juventus is clearly in a state of crisis and the pressure continues to mount on coach Massimiliano Allegri, president Andrea Agnelli and the players.

As reported by journalist Romeo Agresti, some of the Juventus players did not agree with the need for a training retreat after the defeat of Maccabi Haifa, a sign of divisions within the club.

Blame for the poor start was initially placed on Allegri, but now the mood is apparently changing, with many fans pointing the finger of blame at the gaming team. The banners seen outside the Allianz Stadium last night supported the Italian coach and called on the squad to show his commitment to the shirt.
