The JBL Live Pro 2: design, functions, sound quality and much more.

JBL Live Pro 2 is ideal for fitness and sports. They are well made and have an IPX5 rating for resistance to direct contact with water. They’re also quite comfortable, though they lack stabilizing fins and can fall out of your ears if not positioned correctly.

On the plus side, they have a battery life of more than eight hours. In addition, its transport bag has three extra magazines, which come in handy in a hurry.

JBL Live Pro 2 Design

It would be boring to assume that the JBL Live Pro 2 looks like most other stemmed true wireless headphones. The glossy back of the stem adds a designer touch at a price when function is usually prioritized over appearance, but the JBL is a decent mix of the two. However, the appearance can attract specific fingerprints and smudges.

The cocoons, which come in four different colors (blue, pink, black and silver), are very pleasant to wear for long periods of time. If the headphones don’t fit the first time, three sizes of ear tips are offered.

Price and availability

The JBL Live Pro 2

The JBL Live Pro 2 will be available in June 2022 for $149.95. We tested the dark blue buttons, which appear more black on specific configurations, but there are also silver, pink (pink), and black options.

At the time of writing, the black headset cost $99.95 in the UK and US, great news if you can’t justify buying more than $100 worth of a new set.

With all the features available in the JBL app, you’d assume this is a more expensive true wireless speaker. There’s built-in voice assistance for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and both wake phrases are enabled for hands-free voice control (Google is pretty quick at responding to queries).

And it’s performance you can tune to your preferences. For example, noise cancellation can be customized through a trial app. By contrast, Ambient Aware filters out general environmental noises (the amount can be adjusted in the app).

Finally, TalkThru mode trains the microphones on voices so the user can continue a conversation without removing the headphones. Both forms provide constant clarity and heightened awareness.

sound quality

The JBL Live Pro 2

The sound quality these buds provide is excellent for the price. Right out of the box, there’s decent balance across the range and a reasonably expansive soundstage, especially when the volume is up.

They handle bass well, and vocals are usually evident. There was some detail here, but it had to be on par with best-in-class headphones like the Apple AirPods Pro 2. As much as we love the sound here, we think audiophiles would prefer more clarity and detail, a more robust soundstage. bigger and deeper sound.

However, most people will be satisfied with these buttons, especially since you can customize the sound and create your own presets.

In almost every way, the JBL Live Pro 2 true wireless headphones outperform the competition. Noise cancellation is highly effective and adjustable, making it ideal for busy and noisy workplaces and commutes.

The sound is great, the equalizer customization is fantastic, and while call quality may be better, most people won’t notice it until they make a lot of calls on a regular basis.
