Rico Swavey, a former BBNaija The resident was reported dead after a tragic accident.
His death was announced by Tobi Bakre, a partner in the season three BBNAIja reality show in a post on Twitter on Thursday morning.
According to the shared post, Bakre said, “he is missing. But thank you guys. God knows best.”
Bakre earlier launched a fundraiser for Rico Swavey last Wednesday on Twitter as he asked for donations from the public.

Noting that Rico Swavey was on life support, he said, “Please help save Rico. He had a serious car accident. We have to keep him on life support and continue to pay the mounting medical bills while we pray for God’s miracle. We cannot do it alone. Please click the link to donate at ricoswavey.com.
On the other hand, fans and celebrities poured in messages of condolence as they mourned the BBNaija star.
