The arrivals of immigrants by boat to the coasts of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands increased in September to 4,245 people, 2,462 more than those arriving in August, according to the latest assessment of the Ministry of the Interior.
Arrivals on the coasts of the Canary Islands also increased in September: 3,863 people arrived, or 2,139 more than a month earlier.
