HOW PARENTS BUDGET THEIR MONEY – A teacher reminded his students that it is not easy for their parents to earn money.

He pointed out that if each meal costs 50 pesos and the daily budget is 600 pesos, the parents’ salary is insufficient. “Tapos sasabihin niyo ‘si mama mayroon pang pera’ but for ‘yon sa susunod na araw.

“Sinabi ng mama mo na ‘wala akong pera’ tapos nakita mo na may laman pa ‘yung wallet ng nanay mo, wag mong isipin na sinungaling siya kasi gagamitin niya ‘yung pera na yon para sa susunod na araw at kailangan niyo ng 600 para Kumain,” he added.

The teacher pleaded with the students not to ask their parents for more, especially if they were low-income. “Kaya naghihirap ang mga magulang niyo para madala kayo sa eskwela para magkaroon kayo ng maayos na trabaho at sweldo kaysa sa kanila,” she said.

He also hopes they don’t get mad at their parents because they just want to save money. The video had millions of views on social media at the time of publication.
