Golovkin, interview in the ring for the whole T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to hear, he said the following while shaking hands with his opponent: “I’m going to shake hands with Canelo, he is a real warrior. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand anything.”

Canelo returned the favor by using an interpreter to repeat Golovkin’s words and simply say, “I’m glad to share the ring with him.” However, the fighter from Guadalajara, Mexico made sure to wear the golden crown to remind everyone that he is the champion.

Golovkin also reminded the audience of his past achievements and assured that there was more to come: “I have a great plan, I am still a champion. Remember, I have three belts in the 160 lbs. I’ll be back!”.
