James Hawes and Jeremy Lovering are directing the series based on the novel series of the same name by British mystery thriller author Mick Herron.
In October 2019, the series was first announced anonymously and Oldman was announced as the lead actor. Other primary cast members such as Olivia Cooke and Jonathan Pryce joined the cast in December of the following year.
Based on the first book in the series of novels called Slow Horses, the first season aired on April 1, 2022. The second season was adapted from the second book, ‘Dead Lions’.
Slow Horses Season 2 Plot:
The plot of the series began with the deportation of M15 officer River Cartwright to an administrative purgatory, known as the “Slow Horses”, Slough House, where he was denied service.
There he finds the miserable boss Jackson Lamb. But the boredom and boredom of Slough House are arrested and excited when the Slow Horses take a risky gamble at the M15’s headquarters, fictionally known as “The Park”.
The first season of the show concluded with Anglo-Asian student Hassan Ahmed escaping from being kidnapped. His kidnappers were either killed or imprisoned. With this, Lamb and his team were able to clear their names.
Sidonie Baker, whose job is to keep an eye on River at Slough House, was shot at the beginning of the previous season, leaving her fate uncertain the following season.
