Moscow, (EFE).- At least nine people have died, including five minors, in a shooting at a school in Izhevsk, a city at the foot of the Urals.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, “this crime killed nine people: two guards, two teachers and five minors”.
Earlier, the Russian Interior Ministry reported at least six deaths and 20 injuries as a result of the event.
The head of the capital of the Russian republic of Udmurtia, Alexandr Brechálov, for his part, reported on Telegram that an unidentified person entered the school and after opening fire on several people, allegedly committed suicide.
This circumstance was also confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Russia, which reported the discovery of the body of the attacker.
In Izhevsk School 88, located a few meters from the city administration, about a thousand students are studying, according to Russian media.
