The first screening at this festival was held at PVR in Juhu Mumbai when Dilip Kumar’s 1952 film Aan was screened for moviegoers and fans. Saira Banu joined many Bollywood greats in celebrating the occasion.

Speaking to ETimes at the screening event, Ramesh Sippy, who had directed Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan in Shakti, said: “Shakti was my most satisfying film. I learned from Yusuf saab, I am overwhelmed.”

At the event, Saira Banu said, “Amitabh refers to Dilip saab as the benchmark of acting. There will never be another Dilip Kumar again. Never!”
