Jackie doesn’t appear in public much. But every time he does it, he always informs his fans. This time it was at the Red Sea Film Festival and announced the fourth installment of the comedy film series Rush Hour.
The Rush Hour universe currently consists of three films. As announced by Jackie, Rush Hour 4 will be like a universe revival as the third one arrives in 2007.
“We’re talking about episode 4 right now,” said Jackie Chan. He also added that he would meet with the director of Rush Hour 4 that evening to discuss the script. (Jackie knows how to piss off his fans)
However, Jackie did not say who would direct the next episode of Peak Hours. Three previously aired episodes of the series were directed by Brett Ratner. But it seems difficult to manage it. Here is why.
Brett Ratner was accused of sexual harassment and abuse by seven women. Among these seven women were actors Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge. The charges were made in November 2017.
Since 2014, Brett has not directed any movies. These accusations are based on Brett’s Warner Bros. severed ties with him. Brett struck a lucrative deal with the organization.
