Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
The 37-year-old claimed that the Red Devils betrayed him and made it clear that he cannot respect coach Erik ten Hag.
The Premier League club responded by issuing a brief statement revealing that they were considering their options.
Ronaldo, who did not feature in United’s 2-1 win at Fulham, is now training with the Portugal squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
He has now taken to his Instagram to claim that his focus is absolutely on the upcoming tournament in Qatar.
Ronaldo wrote: “Total and absolute focus on the work of the National Team. United group, towards one goal: to realize the dream of all Portuguese!”
It will be the fifth World Cup appearance for the former Juventus and Real Madrid superstar.
