Rafael Nadal admitted that he still does not know when he will play in competitions tennis again as he recovers from a problematic left leg injury, reassuring fans that he wants to make sure he’s in good shape before he returns.
Nadal throughout his illustrious career, he hasn’t been a newbie to injuries and after missing so much time it’s understandable that now that he’s older he wants to be as careful as possible.
“I want to recover from this injury in good health.” Nadal Details at the press conference.
“I don’t know when I will play again, I work hard every day, I follow a specific plan with a roadmap and very clear goals.
“I will not say what these goals are, because there are always things that I cannot control one hundred percent, but in my head I have a clear idea of what my goals are, and I believe that everything will go for the better.”
Spanish icon missed Wimbledon 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and US Open due to this last ailment, originally carried over to Roland Garros.
