B.Ritain Culture Minister Michelle Donelan on Tuesday said the cost of Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral was “money well spent.”

Donelan made the remark in response to a Sky News question about how much taxpayers paid for the sprawling ceremony.

During an interview with Sky, she was unable to name the exact cost of the funeral.

Donelan also said that some 250,000 mourners lined up to see the late monarch’s coffin at Westminster Hall and pay their respects.

On Monday, the United Kingdom and the world said goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II at the funeral, which brought together presidents and kings, princes and prime ministers, as well as crowds on the streets of London and at Windsor Castle.
