València (EFE).- El president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, ha claimed this domingo the need for “a territorial reset” to log a Spanish “polifónica” que no “ahogue” el potencial de ninguna autonomy, y en especial el de the Valencian Community.
During his institutional speech on the occasion of October 9, Day of the Valencian Community, the President insisted on calling for fair financing, the erasure of the debt linked to underfinancing and effective co-governance.
As he pointed out, in Spain you have to “give everything to gain everything”, and he demanded “respect” as a remedy to “mend the fractures” such as not agreeing on fair funding for all territories , not agreeing on taxation that avoids “dumping”, or that joint action for sustainability and energy autonomy is not organised.
“Agreement, union and general interest, this is the route and together I am convinced that we will cross it,” said Puig, who guaranteed that the Valencians are ready to face this “decade of opportunities” and claimed the transformations achieved during these forty years of self-government.
