When you need to get out of the cold, Pikachu and his buddies are waiting for you with the ability to create tricks on the table.
Hakuba from Nagano Prefecture the region boasts some of the best skiing and snowboarding spots in all of Japan. But no matter how much you and your family love to hit the slopes or play in the snow, eventually you’ll have to take a break and come back from the cold. You need an oasis so to speak… so why not Pokémon Oasis?
This is Hakuba’s name Kashimayari Snow Resort Family Park donates its new leisure section for children and families. Located inside the Main Slope Central Plaza building, as part of the Red Cedar restaurant, the Oasis is decorated with colorful artwork of Pokémon characters, with a focus on pocket monster species from Pokemon Scarlet and Violetthe latest paired mainline titles Pokémon video game series.
You may notice that in addition to Pokémon, tables have individual Poké Ball markings for each guest.
They’re about the size of a dinner plate, and that’s no coincidence. Placing the plate over the marking allows you to create a small tick graphic on the table: in photos it will look as if Pikachu and his friends are peeking at your plate and indirectly begging to be bitten.
Pokémon Oasis will be open from December 24 to March 21 and will be available from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekends and holidays. Kashimayari Snow Resort Family Park says it’s “families only” on weekends and holidays, but it looks like all Pokémon fans can use it on other days.
