In fact, he should be fired, but how can anyone expect Abbas or Al-Habbash to repudiate the Quran?

If an American or European presidential adviser stood before a crowd and made the deeply racist statement that “blacks are humanoids… apes and pigs,” the entire civilized world would be up in arms. Speaking to a crowd at a mosque in Ramallah, delivering a sermon that was broadcast on official Palestinian Authority television, Al-Habbash launched into a racist tirade when he voiced his objection to Jews simply visiting The holy place of Judaism: the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. After referring to the Jews as “herds of humanoids grazing,Al-Habbash compared Jews visiting the Temple Mount to “those whom Allah has cursed… and made them into apes and pigs.”
Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Supreme Shari’ah Judge of the Palestinian Authority and adviser to Abbas: “The colective [Muslim] duty that is obligated today is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque (i.e., the Temple Mount)… The supreme [duty] is that it be returned, released, defended and purified from the desecration of the occupation and theft… The minimum duty is to at least visit [the mosque]to awaken him, so that he is not left as prey in the hands of herding herds of humanoids(i.e., Jews on the Temple Mount), of people or creatures that Allah created in the form of humans, and He said of them: “Should I inform you of [what is] worse than that as a penalty from Allah? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed and became angry with and turned into apes and pigs. ” [Quran 5:60]… [We Muslims must take care of the mosque] instead of The Al-Aqsa Mosque continues to fall prey to humanoids who claim a right to it. and that they have sovereignty over it, and that [they] they have religious and historical rights to it.”

As PMW has expounded, the PA’s references to Jews as “monkeys and pigs” are not new.
Rejecting US President Donald Trump’s Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative, the Supervisor General of the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Religious Affairs in Tubas, Sheikh Muhammad Abd Al-Ilah, charged that Trump’s initiative expressed the “selling of Palestine without cost to the descendants of the apes and pigs”:
