Nissan is expanding its offerings in the eastern region of the island after investing $ 1.5 million to open a new GS Motors Authorized Dealership in Rio Grande, which is the first to fully unveil the brand’s new visual identity.
The concessionaire, which will create 19 direct and 40 indirect jobs, will have over 15,000 square feet of business and service retail space.
“The opening of GS Motors strengthens our network of 14 authorized Nissan dealerships. It is also an important step for the brand’s continued growth in the Puerto Rican market, ”said Juan Santana Chea, Chief Commercial Officer for Nissan at Motorambar, the brand’s distributor in Puerto Rico.
Among the amenities that GS Motors offers to its customers, it includes a waiting room in the service area, a counter with accessories and original parts, and an interactive table where customers can use tablets to access information and specifications for the vehicle of interest. Added to this is a charging station for electric vehicles.
“In terms of capabilities, we are ready and happy to open our doors to welcome all of our customers. The GS Motors team is committed to providing you with the utmost care when purchasing your new Nissan or commissioning us to service your unit, ”commented Daniel Ortega, President of GS Motors Nissan.
