Monsta X is a South Korean boy group with six members consisting of Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and IM. The group debuted in May 2015 with their first EP, Trespass. return next year.

On December 11, Monsta X announced via their official Instagram account that they will be making a comeback with their twelfth mini album “Reason”. This comeback has been celebrated almost 9 months since they released ‘Shape of You’ in April of this year.

The mini album “Reason” will be released on January 9, 2023 at 6 p.m. KST. Fans are looking forward to the mini-album’s release.

More About MONSTA X’s Comeback.

Monsta X released their first studio album in March 2017. The group’s first English-language album, All About Luv, debuted in 2020 and topped the charts. US Billboard 200 and over seven US Rolling Stone Top 200.

The group was dubbed the “Next Generation Beast Idol”. Monsta X was selected to serve as Girl Scouts Korea’s seventh promotional ambassador in December 2015. With the development of TwoTuckGom, NCSoft and Monsta X announced their partnership in June 2020.

The band’s name stands for “Monsta X”, “Monsters who conquered the K-pop scene” and “My Star” (Mon means “Mine” in French). X represents an unknown entity. “Baby” in French, “Monbebe” is also the name of their fandom.

They performed at KCON 2015 in Los Angeles and toured the country for the first time. They also won the “1theK Performance Award” at the 2015 Melon Music Awards and the “Next Generation Asian Artist” award at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Monsta X’s First Live “X-Clan Origins”, which took place between 16-17 July 2016, sold out in five minutes and was the group’s first solo performance.

With their first Japanese single album featuring the Japanese versions of “Hero” and “Stuck”, Monsta X debuted in Japan on May 17, 2017 under the new Universal Music label Mercury Records Tokyo.

The group participated in the 2022 Korean Cultural Festival held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea on October 7, 2022.
