MLS: Arango scores brace, Bale adds to LAFC lead by thrashing Real Salt Lake


lLos Angeles Football ClubLAFC) destroyed Real Salt Lake (RSL) on Saturday night at the Rio Tinto stadium with a double Christian “Chicho” Arango and an impressive goal from Gareth Bale.

The LAFC recorded their fifth straight league win, as well as their fifth straight win over RSL.

Arango opened the scoring early with a back heel that is likely to go down in history as one of the best finishes of the season.

In a few minutes, Serge Cordova without hesitation, he stood on the edge of the penalty area, inflicting a fatal blow into the net.

at 17 minutes Kellyn Acosta returned the LAFC lead with another clinical finish.

An exciting first half full of incredible goals came to an end and both teams entered the field in the second without a single substitution.

Arango scored a brace, Bale increased the score

Arango scored his second goal of the night in the 60th minute with an easy assist Kvadvo Opoku.

Four minutes later, with LAFC winning by two goals, Bale replaced Candle Carlos on the field.

LAFC head coach Stephen Cherundolo made three more substitutions with Bale and sent off a few minutes later Giorgio Chiellini after he received a warning for intentionally stopping a pass with his hands.

With three minutes left, Bale ran down the right flank and beat two defenders to get into the box.

His shot flew past the RSL goalkeeper. and the Welshman celebrated his second ml Target.

LAFC will take over charlotte next Saturday when RSL meets Seattle Sounders.
