60-year-old Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh, who played the role of Scion in Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’, recently shared her thoughts on the re-cast of Liam Hemsworth, who will replace Henry Cavill for the role of Geralt.
In an interview with E! News, Michelle Yeoh was asked a question about the controversial decision to revive Liam Hemsworth from Henry Cavill. She replied with these words:
“I think Henry did a great job”
Michelle added,
“Let’s see what Liam has to bring, shall we? That’s it.”
From the answer, it seems that Michelle is hopeful from ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ and Liam Hemsworth, who will now play the lead character Geralt.

Henry Cavill has announced the devastating news that he has left the hit show ‘The Witcher, Blood Origin’ alone. On October 29, he shared the following post on Instagram:
“My journey as Geralt of Rivia is full of monsters and adventures alike, and unfortunately I’m leaving the locket and swords for Season 4.”
Henry wrote these words for Liam Hemsworth:
“In my place, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will masquerade as the White Wolf. As with most great literary characters, I hand over the torch with respect for the time it took to embody Geralt and with enthusiasm for seeing Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced man.”
He ended his statement with the following words:
“Liam, sir, this character has great depth, enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find.”
‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ fans were shocked after the announcement. Henry’s post received many shocking comments.
Bosslogic, renowned art designer working with the DCEU, said, “Today is a sad day. But I look forward to all your future endeavors, the show won’t be the same without you.
One of the fans said, “No, just no. You are Geralt. You play him perfectly.”
