Barcelona, September 27 (EFE) .- The Argentine María Becerra will begin on September 29 at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona a tour that will take her to cities such as Granada, Malaga, Seville, Madrid, Murcia, Valencia, Bilbao and A Coruña , some of which she is stepping on for the first time, as reported by the artist’s agency on Tuesday.
Becerra managed, at 22, to position herself as one of the fashionable singers of the urban genre, after becoming known as a teenager for her YouTube videos in which she intertwined monologues and interpretations of themes musicals by other artists with make-up tutorials or itineraries of your vacation experiences.
“Singing has always been my dream, I knew YouTube was only temporary, that I was born to be a singer and write my songs. So I decided to drop everything and go for it, and a few months later I released my first EP and I liked it,” he recently said in an interview with Efe.
Since then Argentina has shared singles with artists such as Rauw Alejandro, Becky G, Camila Cabello, Lola Índigo or J. Balvin, among others.
Despite her short career, María de los Ángeles Becerra, better known as María Becerra or “La Nena de Argentina”, is one of the great promises of the Argentinian urban genre, as evidenced by the success of “Discoteka” with Lola Índigo or his latest solo single “Automatico”.
The singer is preparing a new album which will probably be released by the end of the year and which will contain a dozen songs, all solo and without any collaboration, according to what has been said.
Although reggaeton is the album’s main genre, Becerra (Quilmes, Argentina, 2000) clarified that it will also include bachata, cumbia, romantic trap and ballads.
