San Diego Padres baseball star Manny Machado suffered a chilling ankle injury trying to get to first base against Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Padres fans held their breath as they played from third base in the All-Star Game. Manny Machado fell with a horrific sprained ankle while trying to knock out a throw to first base.
Bad news for the Padres
According to an MLB insider Hector GomezMachado was able to walk off the field with some help from San Diego’s training staff while putting some weight on his ankle in the process.
Baseball fans reacted Sunday to Machado’s nasty ankle injury. “Oh man, that looks terrible,” one user replied.

This is terrible news, especially given the season. five-time All-Star has in 2021.
In 65 games, Manny Machado hits career maximum 0.329 with 12 home runs, 46 RBIs, 17 doubles and seven stolen bases.
