MAnchester City head coach Josep Guardiola is thrilled that the club have signed Argentine striker Julian Alvarez.
Alvarez will remain at River Plate until the end of the season before joining City in the summer.
“He has developed incredibly well in recent years with Marcelo Gallardo and his teammates. He will be with us next preseason and we will see what happens. The line-up changes every season. I’m very happy to have this talented young player for the next few years.” Guardiola said.
Manchester City take on Fulham in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
