Lamelo Ball NBA Hornets: Ball Cleared Of COVID Protocols, Will Train With G League

Ball was one of several hornets that entered COVID Protocols over the past week and a half.

V Hornets appointed last year NBA Rookie of the Year practice with Greensboro Swarm from the G League on Wednesday after skipping five games.

“Lamelo Ball was dropped from the NBA’s health and safety protocols and was sent to @greensboroswarm to work on conditioning and rehab. Ball will join Jalen McDaniels and Mason Plumley in training with Roy Greensboro today. ” Hornets tweeted.

Without LaMeloThe Hornets have lost three of their five games and will play their next game on Wednesday against Spurs

It is currently unclear Ball will join Hornets for their Friday night game Portland

All five Charlotte Players who were originally listed on the NBA Health and Safety protocols can now return to the game.

Guard Terry Rosier, forward Jalen McDaniels and center Mason Plumley are available to play against spurs. Plumley is listed as likely with a rib injury. Guard Ish Smith it was also allowed to reunite.
