Poor workplace management. Kanye West allegedly showed nude photos of Kim Kardashian to Adidas staff before the company cut ties with him. In a scathing report from Rolling Stonemany former staff members spoke out about the Yeezy founder’s abusive behavior towards employees.
The report exposed Ye’s toxic behavior that permeated the workplace. Many employees claimed that she showed pornography to Yeezy staff at meetings, showed explicit private photos of Kim Kardashian in interviews, and showed sex tapes of her to team members. A former collaborator said of the behavior. “At the time it seemed strange to me but in line with her personality as an avant-garde artist,” they revealed to the publication. “Now, looking at it in a larger pattern, I feel like it was a tactic to bring a person down and establish her unwavering loyalty to her, testing and destroying people’s boundaries.”

In addition to showing inappropriate images and videos to employees, the “Heartless” rapper was accused of disparaging his employees. In one case, he was accused of making an employee of color sit on the floor for hours because she did not “deserve to sit at the table” for a meeting. The former employees went up to write “The Truth About Yeezy: A Call To Action For Adidas Leadership” and accused the sportswear company of lacking “responsibility, accountability and protection that Adidas failed to provide its employees to throughout what we experience as years of verbal discussion”. abuse, vulgar tirades and intimidation attacks”.
Adidas cut Ye from their brand after 9 years of collaboration when rapper DONDA recently posted anti-Semitic rants on social media. He received a lot of backlash after he released his documentary showing a group of Adidas executives porn on camera. A rep for Kanye explained to the executives why Ye showed him the explicit videos, because he accused them of stealing his ideas. “What he’s feeling right now is extreme discomfort, and that’s exactly the point,” the rep said. “Because when someone steals this man’s ideas, his creations, it’s like you’re stealing a child. After the series of anti-Semitic tirades, companies that frequently collaborated with Kanye, including Gap, Balenciaga and Def Jam, cut ties with the “Flashing Lights” artist. Before cutting ties, Kanye bragged about his connection to Adidas on baby champions“I can literally say anti-Semitic things and Adidas can’t let me… what now?”
Kanye has spoken about his “porn addiction” in the past. In an Instagram tirade against the KarJenners, he captioned a post: “Hollywood is one giant brothel. Porn destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction that Instagram promotes. I won’t let it happen to Northy and Chicago.”
Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 after six years of marriage. The former couple have four children together: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. In the same Instagram rants, Kanye was reportedly fighting with Kim over where her children should go to school. Kanye insisted that his children should go to his new Donda Academy, but the person told him to “stop.” Kanye replied: “No, we have to talk in person, you have no say in what school the kids go to. Why do you say say? Why are you half white? The conversation continued and the person relayed a message from Kris saying, “Please tell him to stop saying my name. I’m almost 67 and I don’t always feel well and it stresses me out a lot.”
