I amna press conference before San Francisco 49ersmatch against Los Angeles Rams to the NFC Championship on Sunday at SoFi Stadium, Jimmy Garoppolo spoke about his lingering injuries, Elimination of Tom Bradyand defeat in the 2020 Super Bowl by Kansas City Chiefs.
When asked about Brady lost to the RamsGaroppolo said he hasn’t spoken to his former teammate yet. However, he offered his opinion on the 44-year-old quarterback’s expulsion, giving him credit for almost return from a huge deficit.
“I give him credit for the situation he is in. Losing a couple of guys is a difficult situation,” said Jimmy G. “But I fought back there at the end, gave them a chance to try at the end there. That’s all you can hope for. But it was a game grinder.”
As for his lingering injuries… sore shoulder and torn thumb ligament requiring surgery Garoppolo waved them off and said he was ready to go. He was removed from the injury report for his shoulder, which he injured during a fall while trying to avoid landing on an injured thumb.
“Feels great. Hand ready to throwGaroppolo said.[Finger] feels great. I think we will approach it after the season a little more. But so far it’s holding up. everything will be fine.”

Garoppolo was also asked about Super Bowl 2020 lose Patrick Mahomes and chiefs. I acknowledged that it still motivates him and I believe it will always motivate him to move forward.
“Since it happened, it has been a motivator for me, to be honest. a feeling you can’t describe. This is unlike any other loss I have ever had. Obviously, from that moment on, it motivated me, and it will always continue,” said Jimmy G. “But these are lessons. Sports will never be perfect. If you can learn these lessons and get better, you will be better off in the long run.”
