These “love jihad” incidents stem from supremacist assumptions. On Saturday (November 12), police caught a man for murdering his Hindu partner and disposing of his stung body in the National Capital.
The accused was reportedly identified as an Aftab. He puts the victim, Shraddha, in Mumbai. The duo worked together in a call center. Shraddha fell in love with Aftab and ran away from her house after her parents disapproved of her relationship with Aftab.
The duo thereafter began living together in the Mehrauli area of Delhi. Aftab was reportedly upset with the victim for asking him to marry her. On May 18 this year, he strangled her to death.
The defendant then purchased a refrigerator and stored her body in it for several days. She cut her partner into 35 pieces and disposed of them in 18 different places in Delhi.
Reportedly, he would go out every night at 2 a.m. to dump body parts and destroy evidence of his heinous crime. Shraddha’s family kept track of his whereabouts through his social media posts…
