Pacers: Heading in the right direction
The Pacers are riding a four-game winning streak, so they’ve done an excellent job at both ends of the field. Tyrese Haliburton has developed into an elite player, being top-line playmakers and a great late-game player. Rookie Benedict Mathurin has been in tremendous contact and what a differentiator he has been. Buddy Hield is taking significantly better shots and has become more of a scorer. Myles Turner is having a solid season, while Jalen Smith is a prolific rebounder and well suited as a hustle player. The bank has been doing a good job with Mathurin as second unit leader.
Magic: another strong but very promising season
Paolo Banchero has been in incredible contact as a rookie and is an early candidate for the Rookie of 12 Months. He has been an excellent scorer and rebounder and could become an All-Star. Meanwhile, Franz Wagner can take down the skin punch and is a complete option. However, Wendell Carter Jr is an excellent inside player while Bol Bol is a great athletic experience. Guard Cole Anthony has been out of the sector, while Jalen Suggs needs to develop more consistency, which means the guard mix hasn’t been on the mark. Overall, the Magic lack a working guard combination and that could be their next target.

- Jalen Suggs (ORL): suggs had 9 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block in the final recreation. Jalen, as a sophomore, is still baring his toes as a scorer, but he has a lot of potential. I would imagine he will be at 10-15 points and 3-5 assists vary.
- Chuma Okeke (ORL): Okeke had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 robbery in the final recreation. Breakthrough Okeke has been doing it with 5-9 points, 4-6 rebounds and 1-3 steals at the range.
- Mo Bamba (ORL): mo had 2 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block in the final recreation. Heart Bamba is a great rebounder and inside scorer but he has lost his minutes since the arrival of Banchero. I figure he’ll be at 4-8 points, 4-7 rebounds and 1-2 range blocks.
- RJ Hampton (ORL): Mitchell had 10 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound, 1 block in the final recreation. Guard Hampton has been inconsistent shooting. I think he’ll be in 8-13 point range here.
