Farewell: Scarlette Douglas was the second campmate to be evicted from camp I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here during Sunday’s episode of the show.
During her exit chat with Ant and Dec, she said, “I’m absolutely gutted, I’m not even going to lie about it.”
“I know some people wanted to leave and I was like ‘I’m not ready to leave yet.’
“I wanted to stay as long as possible because those people are amazing and the jungle is amazing.”
Reflecting on her trip to the jungle over a glass of champagne, Scarlette, who enjoyed a VIP experience alongside Boy George entering the jungle and later took on the role of camp chef, explained that she is a ‘team player’ .
The on-screen star added that she would like to see Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatúndé Aléshé crowned King of the Jungle.
She said, ‘Aside from BG’s snoring, [the VIP experience] it was fantastic. I really enjoyed it and felt like it was me directly.
‘He was a bit loud! When you don’t know what was there, but then I thought: “This is the first test, you just need to control yourself.”
“There was a time when there was a spider in the RV and I was gone, I was screaming. But there was another one and I was helping Mike. [Tindall] remove it!’
She continued: “I’m a team player and I love getting caught up. My mom is Jamaican, obviously, and Charlene is a Jamaican mom too. She cooks!”
“However, it gets difficult, especially when people don’t really know how to cook!
I miss them. It’s very difficult, but me and Baba had a real brother/sister bond, so he has to do it for both of us now!’
