A24’s Hereditary became an instant horror classic when it debuted in 2018 with its haunting, haunting imagery and themes of family and trauma. One of the settings used in the promotion of the film is the children’s treehouse where the terrifying ending occurs.
Now A24 wants to bring in the holidays with their gingerbread house set that looks just like the treehouse kit. The set includes a cast iron baking plate, a plastic treehouse base, a recipe card, an instruction booklet, and a small candle to light up the treehouse at night. The cast iron base builds an entire treehouse, as well as a gingerbread Peter, the demon king Paimon, and worshippers.
This is definitely an out-of-the-box type of gift for fans of contemporary horror and Christmas decor, since Venn Diagram doesn’t cross over much.
The complete set retails for $62, which you can purchase here, is somewhat unusual for A24. The company generally doesn’t do any sort of tie-in merchandise outside of the occasional soundtrack or special edition release and select movie. wear.
