Emily the Criminal was written and directed by John Patton Ford. Ford is making his directorial debut with this film. He had previously shot a short film called Patrol.
Dexter Braff, Angus Wall, Kent Kubena, Lowell Shapiro, Kevin Flanigan and Mike Dill serve as executive producers along with Tyler Davidson, Plaza and Drew Sykes. This film was co-financed by Low Spark Films and Fear Knot Productions.

The plot of Guilty Emily (2022)
Emily is a young lady who got a $70,000 school loan for an Arts Degree that she dropped midway through. She’s worse, her track record of heavy assault makes it impossible for her to find a decently-paying job, she.
While working in the catering business, a coworker tells him about a position that pays him $200 an hour. He treats the job as a dummy client to increase his salary. To top up her money, Emily tries shady deals, including buying items using her stolen credit cards. His involvement in delinquency deepens from there.
Although she started making quick money, Emily quickly discovered that her black market business had deadly consequences.
