While shoulder bolsters may come and go, a BFF sticks around. Because realizing you’re not on tour alone is helpful, even if you’re not sure where you’re headed. No one has all the solutions, and perhaps the best we can do is apologize and let the past go. At other times, we have to look ahead and remember that life can still surprise us and we will still surprise ourselves, even if we think we’ve seen it all.

Gossip Woman Season 2: Recap

Blair worries about Serena’s health in jail when Lily drops off a car at the police station. Nate finds it incredible that Lily went to the police station to get Serena expelled after her own mother put her in jail. Vanessa finds out about Rufus’ failed proposal attempt from Dan and Jenny at the residence. They quickly change the dialogue to “promenade” and how they’ll skip it when he walks into the room.

Rufus replies that the funding has ended because Lily had Serena arrested when Dan asks about it. He then advises that they remain impartial and allow them to figure it out for themselves. Lily had flashbacks of her own authorized meetings when she was on tour to meet Serena while she was back at the police station. She finds out that Serena had contacted CeCe to avoid wasting her when she sees Serena.

The next day, Lily questions CeCe about her continued presence in space. When CeCe asks why Lily is so mad at her, Lily replies that it’s because she told Rufus about her son. She claims that Rufus had a right to know when he got defensive. Eric interrupts and says that his son has passed away. Later, Lily claims that she will begin the process of restoring Serena by bringing her breakfast in bed, but Eric and CeCe claim that she is not home.

Blair asks Serena at the Waldorf why she’s still incarcerated. Serena reveals that Lily made the decision to stay alone because she didn’t think she was old enough to make her own decisions. They cling after she gives Blair luck on the ride with Nate. Dorota tells Blair that her costume was destroyed by the dry cleaner, but she sent a replacement to herself from Paris.

When Blair opens the box, she is surprised to realize that it looks just like the boardwalk scrapbook she created when she was a little woman. Chuck is informed by Nate that the flower shop is out of peonies, his limo has been booked, his costume has broken down, and his hotel reservation has been cancelled. Chuck flatly denies sabotaging the person’s plans when he is asked if he did it.

Gossip Woman Season 2: Plot

Lily tells CeCe at the VDW that she wants her to leave her house and never come back. Lily responds to CeCe’s accusation that she is guilty on all of her points by saying that she does not take a duty on something. Carol didn’t show it well, CeCe says, because she too was ungrateful for her affection. Lily replies that Carol’s life doesn’t seem so horrible from where she is right now. Later, Dan calls Lily and asks her to know how angry Serena is with him for not getting a response to her messages. Lily replies that since she’s still incarcerated, she hasn’t seen her messages.

Dan informs Jenny that she would need a costume for the ride after hanging up the cell phone. Lily goes to the police station to formally dismiss the charges against Serena, but she finds out that she is gone. Constanza’s walk has already begun. Penelope, Hazel, Isabel, and Nelly greet Nate and Blair once they arrive. They are invited to decide on the King and Queen of the Walk, which Blair is opposed to, at least, until she finds out that she and Nate have been nominated and that there will likely be a tiara.

The minions leave and discuss how they are going to rig the ride queen vote so that Blair loses to Nelly. Chuck, however, listens to his plans without his data. As they ride to the boardwalk, Serena gets ready in the back seat of her and Dan apologizes to her for telling Lily. She thanks him for putting an end to her horrible parenting display, and he thanks her for allowing him to contact CeCe to avoid wasting her. Lily goes to talk to Rufus inside the attic.

She replies that she never aspired to be like CeCe and asks if he was planning on popping the question. She is aware that he did not respond due to how he felt about her after what he did to Serena. She’s unpredictable, according to Rufus, and that was fun when they were young. Lily remembers an argument with her mother and comes to the conclusion that she will inevitably make the same mistakes as CeCe. Rufus replies that she also wants to forgive CeCe even though she will never change, saying that she should forgive Serena for defying her.

Lily tries to kiss Rufus after thanking him for his help. He tries to kiss her, but she backs off, saying that he’s glad they’re talking, but he’s on the fence about everything.

Gossip Woman Season 2: Additional Details

We have to admit that when the first season of “Gossip Woman Reboot” began, we weren’t all that excited. This skepticism was sparked by the concept. When the first season of “Gossip Woman” aired in 2007, the most “restaurant” TV series ever appeared. It was about the lives of the rich and privileged and the strategies they employed to maintain their social hegemony.

“Gossip Woman” was definitely not a top-of-the-line showcase that relied heavily on that theme. But what made her famous and continues to make her famous now is the tenacity of her characters. It was fun and interesting to watch a group of young people with trivial things introduced in probably the most “Tolstoy-Esque” style. As we get older, better materials and age have pushed us to reconsider our love for this system, making it more of a responsible pleasure than anything else.

We would have been persuaded to give the first season a try because of that. We’ve been surprised to find that, to be honest, we prefer it. But as the series progressed, we realized that we had only had fun with the show as a weak parody of the original. Only young people or those who still have a teenage spirit should watch this show. The little social issues that were a trademark of the previous show are still around, but this hasn’t changed in season two.

Women of the Valley: Evaluate

Lily is seen driving a car on the coast of Malibu, California on April 16, 1983. She makes a pit stop and phones her father, Rick Rhodes, at the Rhodes Data office. Once she has him on the phone, she invites him to lunch because she’s in Los Angeles. He asks why she’s not in Santa Barbara for the varsity team, but she brushes him off and says they’ll meet at her favorite restaurant. She reads the letter informing her mother and her father of her expulsion from boarding school after hanging up the cell phone.

Lily walks into the restaurant and joins Rick at a desk. She acknowledges that Christmas was unusual without him, and he laughs it off before apologizing for having to pass it up. She starts to talk about getting kicked out of college, but he cuts her off saying that she already knows. He confesses that CeCe tipped him off when Lily asks how she knows. CeCe appears at that moment and takes a seat at the desk. She and Rick exchange cold greetings before she tells Lily that Rick got the university to let her come back.

Lily, who is shocked, explains that she wanted to be kicked out so she could be with her father. She worries that he won’t be a part of her life when she grows up, but he tells her that won’t happen. Furthermore, he claims that he is too busy with her work to pick her up and that she should leave town that night to undertake. As she leaves, she offers him one remaining kiss.

He warns her to stay out of town so she won’t find herself like her sister, Carol, as she runs after him. Lily states that while she understands that she shouldn’t be like Carol, she won’t achieve this because she doesn’t have the need to forge her own path. The valet then pulls Rick’s car into her driveway and he leaves her, telling her that he will call her when he gets home. Time to go home, CeCe says as she leaves the institution. Lily promises to follow her again, and the two get into their own cars. Lily travels in one medium while CeCe travels in another.
