Argentinian Giovanni Simeone, son of Atlético Madrid coach Diego Pablo Simeone, scored his first goal on Saturday for Hellas Verona and resulted in a penalty in his side’s 3-3 draw in Genoa, during the sixth day of the Italian Serie A.
Starting in the eleven of Croatian coach Igor Tudor, Simeone broke the tie after eight minutes with a fine header and, at the start of the second half, caused the penalty that Czech Antonin Barak transformed to give Verona a double advantage.
