Week 5 of the NFL season is here. On Thursday, the Indianapolis Colts passed the Denver Broncos in the 12-9 overtime victory. Both teams worked without a catch in the game – so much for the frustration of existing fans.
In the first slate, the New York Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers in London, England. Giants star Saquon Barkley had 106 total yards and a touchdown in that one 27-22 victory.
Week 5 also features several divisional matchups. The Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers battle for supremacy in the NFC South. The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens renew their rivalry for the AFC North in the early going.
The Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs conclude Week 5 action on Monday night. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, recently on AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors, will take aim at passing Cowboys legend Troy Aikman on the NFL’s all-time touchdown list.
