Yuqi, a member of the South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE, was hospitalized after facing a health issue. Besides being a member of (G)I-DLE, Yuqi is an active soloist in China. She is a Chinese dancer, singer, songwriter and record producer.
On November 20, the incident occurred when Yuqi was hospitalized for health problems. Given his currently unstable health, he will not be taking part in any of the group activities for a while.
A fan video call event was scheduled to be held that day, but due to the unfortunate incident, he will not be present at that event.

The agency, Cube Entertainment also made an official statement regarding Yuqi’s Health Issue as follows:

Besides being a singer, Yuqi was the main host of Kakao TV reality show “Learn Way” (2020-2021).
The song has been selected by Baidu and the Listening Foundation to serve as an ambassador for the International Day of the Deaf 2021. Song became one of the most sought after brand ambassadors among young customers in 2021 thanks to his outstanding performance abilities.
Cube Entertainment announced on May 6, 2021 that Song will make his solo debut with the release of the single “A Page” on May 13 with the lead singles “Giant” and “Bonnie & Clyde”. Song took part in the “Hail to Heroes” performance for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games on October 27.
