Ford Mustang Raptor 2023 looks solid in the first official photo

  • Ford shared the first official image of the Mustang Raptor in 2023, taken exclusively Mustang Country.
  • These photos show the wide stance of the Mustang Raptor, available 37-inch tires and other external details.
  • Ford said that the Bronco Raptor will be available next year and will join the F-150 Raptor currently on sale.

Ford Bronco enthusiast website Bronco Nation is fortunate to get an official preview of the upcoming Bronco Raptor, which will be available next year and join the F-150 Raptor in a new high-performance off-road vehicle series. From Ford. We’ve seen spy photos of the Mustang Raptor before, but these slightly disguised shots show off its confident posture, sturdy rubber, and aggressive appearance.

Ford Bronco Raptor will be equipped with Fox’s Live Wire dual-tube bypass shock absorber (also used in F-150 Raptor), which will allow it to travel higher than standard SUVs. It will be equipped with 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 off-road tires (also a new option on the F-150 Raptor), although a smaller set of 35-inch tires is expected to become standard. Combining all these radical elements together would be a clearly broader stand, as clearly seen here, with a protruding fender flared. It also has the “Ford” grille, amber headlights and side lights like the F-150 Raptor, which means it will be more than 80 inches wide, skid plates and more unique taillights.

Ford has not revealed the details of powering the Bronco Raptor, but there are rumors that it will use the more powerful EcoBoost V-6. Currently, Bronco’s most powerful engine is a 330-horsepower 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6. In our tests, it increased the speed of the two-door Bronco First Edition to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. The power of the Bronco Raptor is expected to be higher, and may even reach about 450 horsepower, which is close to the 470 horsepower V8 of the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392.

Look for more information on the 2023 Ford Mustang Raptor, including powertrain specifications, because the automaker will release more information when next year approaches. Now, thanks to Bronco Nation, we will be salivating on these images.
