South Korean girl group Everglow has announced that they have canceled their upcoming South Asian tour.
The group consists of six members including E:U, Sihyeon, Mia, Onda, Aisha, and Yiren. In March 2019, the group debuted with the single album “Arrival of Everglow”.
On December 9, concert promoters Magic Sound K-Pop and MakeItLive announced that Everglow’s South Asia tour scheduled for next week has been cancelled. They made an official statement regarding the cancellation of the tour. The description is as follows:
“Dear Southeast Asian FOREVERs, we regret to inform you that the EVERGLOW SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR dates for Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta have been cancelled.
We have made an effort to provide the best concert possible to our EVERGLOW members and FOREVERs in Southeast Asia, but that was not possible at the time.
All FOREVER tickets that have purchased tickets will be refunded through the appropriate ticketing systems after a refund request has been made.
We sincerely apologize for not being able to provide you all with EVERGLOW’s Southeast Asia tour. We apologize to fans for any inconvenience this may cause.
We will continue to support EVERGLOW and we sincerely hope you will do the same.”

The band members were made public by the company through the “Crank in Movie” series on Stone Music Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
Selling over 23,000 copies as of September 2019, Arrival of Everglow debuted and peaked at number six on the Gaon Albums Chart, while its lead single “Bon Bon Chocolat” peaked at number five on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales. Chart with 5,000 copies sold in the US as of August.
As a result of its commercial success, Everglow won its first music show award on The Show on September 24. The band’s first full-length play (EP), Reminiscence, featuring their debut song “Dun Dun”, was released on February 3.
The EP debuted at number four on the Album Chart and sold more than 27,000 copies in its first month of release, while the song debuted on one of Everglow’s Gaon singles charts, reaching number 63 on the Download Chart.
