European stocks surge ahead of ECB emergency meeting

The central bank of the euro zone faces the risk of financial fragmentation after announcing an extraordinary meeting this morning, with the U.S. Federal Reserve tightening its currency.

At 9 am, Paris bourse rebounded 1.22% after six straight sessions of losses, while Frankfurt bourse rose 1.32%. It rebounded 0.65% shortly after the open in London.
